Here's what we do
At the Deer Management Group, our primary goal is to ensure the effective management of deer populations while considering the needs of both wildlife and human communities.
Here’s what we do:
Population Monitoring
We conduct regular surveys and data analysis to assess deer population densities, distribution, and behaviour patterns. This information helps us make informed decisions about population control measures.
Habitat Conservation
We work towards preserving and restoring and protecting natural habitats that support healthy deer populations. This includes initiatives like reforestation, wildlife corridors, and protecting and maintaining valuable environments e.g., SSSI’s etc
Woodland Impact Assessments
A comprehensive woodland impact assessment is crucial to understand the specific deer-related challenges faced by woodlands and to guide effective deer management strategies for sustaining healthy woodland ecosystems.
Deer management plans
In cases where deer populations exceed sustainable levels, we implement responsible Deer management plans. These measures are carefully regulated, adhering to ethical standards and local regulations.
Collaboration
We collaborate with local authorities, conservation organisations, and landowners to develop comprehensive deer management strategies. By pooling resources and expertise, we maximize the effectiveness of our efforts.
Ethical & Safety
We ensure an ethical and safe approach always throughout our practices.
